wedding season basically equates to craft season, for me at least. at the moment I'm doing save the dates, invitations, prepping for showers, bachelorette bashes, and everything in between. As stressed as I am, my brides are even more stressed! So I wanted to do a quick and easy something to lift their spirits.
I found these mini champagne bottles at Whole Foods, and instantly knew what I was going to do. I had some leftover gold glitter from a previous project (but let's be honest, I always have glitter on hand) and all I had to do was grab some mod podge to roll the bottom half in glorious sparkles!
I honestly just used my fingers to coat the bottom of the bottles - it's way better than having to clean a brush off afterwards. If you don't want the glitter flaking off, let the first coat with glitter applied dry, then brush another coat of clear glossy mod podge on top. I skipped this step because I knew we'd be popping this bubbly immediately :)
I used a metallic gold prismacolor pencil to write on craft paper tags and tied around the top. Voila! 15 minutes + a few hours of dry time, and you've got a reason to celebrate.
